IBPS AFO Revised Prelims Exam Pattern 2026

As per the revised pattern, the IBPS AFO Prelims Exam consists of four sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge. Professional Knowledge has been newly added to the Prelims. This is the first screening stage, and candidates must qualify in all four sections by securing the minimum sectional cut-off marks prescribed by IBPS to be shortlisted for the Mains Exam.
All questions are objective type (MCQs).
The total exam duration is 80 minutes.
0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.
The examination is conducted online.
English Language questions are available only in English.
Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge questions are available in English and Hindi.
