Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) invites online applications for 1,936 Assistant Professor posts in government-aided degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh under Advertisement No. 04/2026. Vacancies include posts in co-educational and women’s colleges, with subject-wise openings in disciplines such as Agricultural Economics, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Botany, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Entomology, Agricultural Extension, and Agricultural Statistics, among others. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved/PwD categories) and have qualified UGC NET/CSIR NET/SLET/SET or possess a PhD as per UGC rules. The application process is online and requires mandatory One-Time Registration (OTR). The last date to apply is 7 October 2026. The selection process includes a written examination (19 & 20 November 2026) and interview. Salary is as per Pay Level 10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400) with allowances.
